As part of my "routine setup of a new device", I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader soon after first firing up my new N4.

Last evening, I had the first opportunity to download a pdf document from the web and when I went to open it I was given a choice to do so with Adobe Reader or with QuickOffice. The thing is, I didn't know I had QuickOffice on this device and I can't find it anywhere in the apps grid view.

Where is it hiding?

PS: In case you were wondering, the Nexus 4 Guidebook can be found at Nexus Help

Yeah, kind of surprised as I thought plain Android didn't come with any Office type apps.

BTW, QuickOffice Pro is now selling for .99 (limited time) in the Play store. Wonder if I need it.

Where is it hiding?

It's a system app like GMail or Google Earth, so it's hiding in the /system/app folder. Its filename is "OccamQuickOffice.apk". Without being rooted you cannot uninstall it. You can disable if you like, though.
