QuickPic app not showing WMV files

Have QuickPic 4.5.2 (the pre-CM version) installed on both my MXPE and a Samsung S4. The version on my MXPE does not show any of my WMV files in the browser but the S4 does. The files are there and I can watch them using MX Player. I can see them using EX File Explorer. They aren't hidden or protected or copyrighted (family videos I shot years ago on 8mm and encoded myself). Went through all the settings and didn't see anything unusual. Using the same exact app on two different phones...why would one display WMV files in the QuickPic browser and the other won't? It's either something with the phone or the version of Android since the S4 is running 4.2.2.
