Ok....here goes! I am very fimillar with android. Had my Moto Droid since release, and travel about 2000 miles a month for work using my Moto Droid for nav. I loved it, streamed through the headphone jack with a standard line out cable. It gave me Hands free speakerphoin, and voice directions over the vehicle speakers. So i did the same thing with the incredible (used the same cable) And I thought all was well, had music, and nav going, then all by itself it launched the voice dial listening window. It did this 3 times in a row, and went away....a little later the music started fast forwarding on its own (Local music on internal storage) It fast forwarded like it would on a cassett tape, right through to the next song. Did this like 5 times in an hour. After that I get a call, and the other party couldn't hear me. So I am looking at the phone, and realize by the icon that it registered the line out cable as a HEADSET, instead of HEADPHONES. So i reboot the phone with the cable plugged in, and the phone see's the cable as headphones as it should, And all was good the rest of the trip (5 hours) So I have been playing with it and if I plug the cable in with the phone powered on it sees it as a headset every time. If i boot the phone with the cable allready plugged in it sees it as headphones as it should. Any insight guys? Anyone else notice this? Thanks!

ohhh, and if some of u guys can plug in a line out cable and tell me if u have a headset icon in the notification bar(headphone with boom mic) or headphone icon (headphone only) that would be awesome! Could someone also reboot the phone with lineout connected and note the same above? Thanks in advance!
