New to the Droid Maxx was in a custom rom with my Gnex so I have questions...

Anyway to set the phone up to have quite hours even an app that will only allow the phone to ring ( no matter what / who calls) I do not want to hear email any other type of notification sounds.

I used Do Not Disturb when I was using a TW ROM (AOKP had it built in).

There is an app that come with the phone that does just that - Assist. You can set it so that favorites ring through, or people who call twice, though that's optional. Some people had problems with the phone not restoring volumes at the end of the sleep period, but I never have.
