quite speaker performance?

The n5 I played with at a Sprint store has a very quite speaker - the lg g2 was much louder. Is this a software issue or just a bad phone?

I've watched a couple of podcasts this week and folks seem to think the speaker (and camera) issues are software related and that this will give Google some room to play with and tweak things.

The quiet speaker is one thing that really makes me look at my Nexus 5 and sigh. I like loud annoying ring tones sometimes LOL

I hope cause the note 3 and moto x are almost twice as loud.
