Radio Player Apps Closing Themselves

Hi there. Recently switched to a Nokia 8, running Oreo 8.1 (always Samsung previously) and I have to say it's a great device: really smooth without all the bloatware.
One issue though.
BBC radio iPlayer, Tune In Radio Pro, Stitcher...all shut down after 28 minutes - not an issue on other phones.
Nokia Support say an 'Over the Air fix' will be coming 'soon.' This was only after they'd suggested obvious things that I had already advised them I had unsuccessfully tried(!)
Anyone any suggestions/knowledge please?
Thanks

There's nothing you can do but wait for their fix. (Except maybe flash a different ROM to the device until they get the problem fixed, if being able to listen to the radio is important to you. (I's important to me, and I'd seriously considering flashing a new ROM just to be able to get radio streaming apps to not quit - if I couldn't return the device and buy someone else's, which would be my first choice. That's a major bug.)

Sorted! After 3 mobile online help not being able to...well, help...and Nokia not being able to assist either...although they did message out of the blue saying 'over the air fix' coming soon.
So, I walked into my local '3' store. The staff member looked at my phone, and after 30 seconds - maybe less - said "Uninstall the Norton Cache Cleaner/Anti Virus app". I had installed this myself as I used it for years on a 3 year old Samsung Note with no problems.
"I bet that's causing the issue, a well known problem with many phone's - not compatible sometimes."
The app was uninstalled and guess what? No more problems.
So why couldn't the technical support at 3 and Nokia help ask me about any apps I'd added? Ah well. Well done Lorna in the store.
Phone is smooth, stable and a very likeable device; unbloated with unnecessary apps. Love it!

I always found that, just like Windows, separate AV software tends to cause more issues than it solves anyway.
