Here is my updated status. One thing I dont understand is my order was already validated. Oh well at least is shows ship date as 5.7.12

Yeah I don't have carrier approval anymore either. I just live chatted with radio shack via the order status page and he said they are out of stock and doesnt know when they will get more. He also said that doesnt mean they arent getting them today. Just means his computer shows out of stock. I think we did just get "Boned".

I think it means that live chat agents aren't privy to the pre-order information and there are hundreds/thousands of preorder units that won't make it into the standard inventory as they're all ear marked already.

mbaran I hope you are right. I would have pre-ordered through Amazon if I thought I would get boned from RS.

it's only 2:20 PST, I have faith in RS. They can get these out by 5 or 6PM PST and still make next day FedEx delivery.

Well I talked to another Live Chat rep and he told me something totally different. He said they were having issues with activation of the phone and it was being sent to corporate. So basically I call BS on anything they say right now.

Ok I talked to another chat rep to see what he would say. This guy seemed to give up a little more info. He said they are having issues with all HTC ONE X activations. The problem is when they activate the phone the price jumps from 49.99 to 199.00 They are trying to resolve the issue and has since been set to the higher ups at corporate to figure out. He assured me we will get the phone for 49.99 once they resolve the issue. Hopefully they figure it out fast because my iphone 4 has been lagging and running like crap lately.

Estimated Ship Date changed to tomorrow. Hope they can straighten things out by then.

My Captivate has been goofing up plenty lately, looking forward to the One X.

Same here. My ship date has been getting bumped back a day, every day since I pre-ordered. I know I saw Carrier Approval get checked when I ordered, but who knows.

Also, according to my customer page, I'm getting gray. Screenshot for proof!

I just left a post about the shipping issue on the radio shack Facebook page under their post about "the one x available in stores today" and they responded that all the phones should have shipped out today I replied back about the issues I and others are having I will let everyone know if they reply back, maybe if enough people post on their Facebook page they will do something about this.

Thanks. Hopefully the units have shipped, as you were told and as I was also told by a rep this morning *should* happen, and they just haven't updated the order status. That wouldn't be the first time... plus, I was told order status takes 6-12 hours to reflect changes after they happen.

I just posted there. I did notice that my pending charge for 49.99 fell off, which means RS has NOT charged me yet for the phone... unlikely that they shipped it but did not charge it.

I've been facing the same problems as mentioned. Pre-ordered on 4th May. Estimated dispatch date has been moving later and later each day. Now on the 8th. Got carrier approval when I first placed the order but moved back to "pending approval" now. Was told that Radioshack don't have stock and don't know when they will receive the next batch. Told to call back in 2 days.

Out of curiousity, I rang the sales line. They said they had stock!! So I placed a second order. The second order is now got carrier approval and order is validated. According to web site:

"Great News! Your order is ready to ship.
We will send you an email with tracking information and update this site once it ships.
Thank you for shopping with us!"

So, looks like my pre-order is going to arrive after my second order! Never ordering from RadioShack again. And have now lost out on the pre-order deal pricing. Anyone would think this was the first time they have offered a pre-order deal - it is a nightmare!

Juust spoke to them, while we were talking the agent refreshed the system and the gray phone went from out of stock to in stock. So who knows. They said I could switch to the white phone nut it would cost $199. Pass, I'll wait another couple of days. <sigh>
