Ram usage?

I restarted the phone. Smart manager - Ram- this page lists roughly 55 apps or processes running. I didn't open any of these apps myself. For example I don't have the Gmail app even set up, and yet it shows up on this list taking up Ram. Other stuff in the list makes sense like android system stuff. And Ram usage shows 50% at reboot. I I'd think the phone would have have more free memory without me even launching anything.

Welcome to touchwiz is right! My nexus 6 with 3gb ram has 1.5 gb free and we all know how smooth iohone is with only 2gb. S7 has 4 gb of ram with 700mb free.
