Random app crashes, phone freezing, messages saying certain apps have stopped working

[Android Central Question]

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and I experience roughly every couple of days a combination of either apps crashing randomly, my phone completely freezing up out of the blue and staying that way for several minutes, and messages saying "(insert app here) has stopped working", even though I have been using the app and it's working fine.

This happens most of the time when my phone battery is below 35%-40%, and still happens even after updating the phone OS and apps.

Please let me know if you have any solutions! As these experiences are ruining what is really a good phone!

Apps crashing will cause those issues like freezing the phone , so let's start have you tried safe mode?

Ok good news , now you have to find the app thsts causing this and I would start with the ones that crashed

Just restart the phone yo exit out the safe mode

Thank you for the advice. It's the same advice the guy at the phone store gave me, but I thought I'd check just to see. Tell me, though, if I can't get my phone to even open, how do I put it back to factory settings?
