thank you. yes, theyre all mine. just a quasi-daily sketch folder. no longer than an hour to rough up an idea. most of them are done with a single brush, and differing opacities, usually no more than 3 layers.

When you say layers are you using photoshop? Or a brush and paints?

photoshop style. (actually in ubuntu, so I have to use GIMP). my files consist of a background layer, a single layer where I use a 10%-50%opacity black/white brush(es)to paint the subject matter, and a layer of color on top. sometimes I'll add another one with details if working on hi-res, but i dont have any of those out on the net.

Cool. I use Photoshop a lot and used to draw and paint for many years. I got a scholarship in fine arts when I graduated. Love how everyone is going digital and using tablets etc now. Keep sharing.

anything that comes to mind, really. I have a chinese villa under sketchings, and another project (of hands holding lightning) that I started doodling around with shapes and shading tonight. here is the result. 20 mins, I think: RH- shader v1.1 by ~octoshrimpy on deviantART
