Random soft restarts?

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but for a majority of the day my phone has been doing these soft restarts. It goes black, shows the Samsung logo, the tmobile logo really quickly and then to the home screen again. It all happened really quickly, not like when u restart the phone on ur own and it takes time to boot. This is the first time I've seen it happen up close, but I know it's happened earlier because the phone has requested my password after restarting. Not sure what to look for or what's going on. Any tips?

Uh...i havnt had that happen even once. Have not had to deal with soft restarts since the days I put custom roms on my phone's. Might try a factory reset. Sounds like something went sideways

Yea, might give that a try in the morning. But I wonder what's causing it though.

Factory reset for sure. That is bizarre behavior. If it happens again after a reset, swap it out.

I haven't even experienced a stutter as of yet. I'm sure a factory reset will cure it.

Not at all. Same if not less than I had on my S7E.

Had my AT&T GS8 only about twelve hours. So far, no issues. It's been very snappy and smooth like butter.
