I would recommend you guys post there and make sure you discuss the circumstances. You have to register your unit on their website but I am sure it will help in getting a fix out ASAP...

Yes, please do. The moderator Matt has a method for grabbing a bug report that works for some people. So please read this thread and try to snag a bug report on your next BSOD.

Happened twice today. Not had this issue before. I just downloaded Go Launcher EX and all the Go Widgets not long before this started happening. Wonder if there is a connection, anyone else downloaded these, or another launcher then started having troubles? Trying the System Portal fix now.

It would seem it has something to do with the SMS app. Since the solution offered by Verizon seems to delete some data involved with the choice of what SMS app you use. Maybe someone can elaborate...

The one thing that has got me thinking is that my "issue" started when I tried to set up Handcent (ended up deleting it because I just couldn't get it to stop sending all my texts as MMS) now the only other app i download at the time i started having these issues is "smart keyboard pro" so maybe other people who are having these same issues will chime in in regads to the "smart keyboard". I think you maybe right in regards to texting because each time my phone has shutdown/off that was the last thing I can remember doing.

Well there goes that theory.. Sitting here at 7:30 and went 2 use phone DEAD!! had to do battery pull up and running again. So I'm lost @ this point will go to verizon tomorrow and ask for a new phone..

Well after doing a "factory reset" last Sunday (9/18) I went a full week with out any issues....BUT this morning around 9:30 I went to use the phone and got the BSOD!!!! So now I'm back to square one!! SOOOOO FRUSTATING!!!! I can only hope that Motorola comes out with a fix soon...
