I like raw image files. I opted for saving both a jpg and a raw image file in the camera app. However in Gallery I only seem to see the jpg. If I go into files and look there is only one image file. Are the jpg and raw files stored in the same place? How come I don't see both?

It’s either saving the jpg as embedded in the raw file or possibly not saving the raw at all

Try setting to just raw (if you can) take a shot and see if it’s in the same place as your jpgs. Should have a dng file extension

Did you switch the camera to pro mode? I think it won't shoot RAW in Auto or burst mode.

Go into camera settings, rear camera resolution. There you will see the toggle switch for turning on RAW files in Pro mode (JPEG are still saved, btw.)

You can't take raw photos unless the camera is already in Pro mode. And that was not the question. He asked "where are they STORED". The DNG files are saved to the internal device storage and you can find them in device storage > DCIM > Camera.

He didn't ask how to turn Pro mode on. He obviously already has Pro mode turned on or he wouldn't be able to take raw photos. He asked where raw images are stored. The DNG files are saved to the internal device storage and you can find them in device storage > DCIM > Camera.

They might figured it out by now or been away for awhile, but it does save to Samsung gallery both copies
