I am about to get a new phone my Droid X It's about to bite the dust. So I'm trying to decide whether I should go with the razor or the razor maxx! What's the difference between the 2 and which 1 would be the best to go with or are they pretty much similar? The razor max will cost me about 200 bucks and the razor will only cost me about 49 dollars after the rebate. I am a real estate agent so I use my phone a lot 4 calls and web.

Phones are identical. Only difference is Maxx has a larger battery and so the phone is a tad bit thicker other than that its all the same.

Don't listen to this dude above me unless you want to charge your phone 3-4 times a day.

I'd recommended getting the Maxx since it has the longest talk time for any mobile device on the current market.

Thanks for the input! Webbie is extra special I wouldn't even considerate a Nexus (he just wanted some attention must of gotten bored jerkin... never mind I'm not gonna touch that) anywho thanks for sticking to my question!

Definitely the Razr Maxx. That Battery will last allllllll day even while your hogging up the web my friend :)

I've been on mine all day. 4G, streamed about one hours with of music and just hit 9 hrs w/over 50% left. No way I'd go without the Maxx. Go Maxx or Go home:-)

....regarding nexus, there is a strong chance you'd have signal and call problems too. The Motorola Razr Maxx is a work horse. It's not the best display and to some not the best shape or design but if you count on your phone to be a solid performer for business do not get anything else. The exception might be if you can wait a few more weeks to see if Moto puts out it's successor, the Fighter. Call quality is great, the Bluetooth works flawlessly with my Ford Sync and speaker phone is so good the person your talking to can't tell your on speaker. The icing on the cake is Motocast. I can access my computers files with my phone. Very sweet.

I agree with the Maxx over the Razr. If you depend on it for business you want the most battery power you can get. The battery should last you a full business day (including internet use and voice phone calls) plus a lot longer. I think rbess1965 pretty much nailed it.

Motocast is a great feature. If you keep most of your business files on your laptop or desktop, you can access them on your phone in a snap (as long as the computer is connected to the net).

Ignore the Nexus trolls. They're brainwashed. :p

I'd go with the RAZR MAXX. I had the RAZR on release date and replaced it with a MAXX shortly after. The battery on the RAZR annoyed me to no end. I'd leave it on the charger while at home JUST in case I decided to go out later on. With the MAXX, its off the charger from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. That can be 16 hours or a few times I hit 22 hours and still had 45% battery.

You do realise that keeping a battery on a charger after its full or keep it on too often will hurt the battery right?

You guys are haters. Samsung phoned are by far superior than anything motor has ever put out. I do respect that the maxx has amazing battery life, but I'll take ICS over motor blur any day

No one is being a HATER webbie! Hating is coming into a Razr forum and posting about a Damn nexus that if I was interested in, I would have posted in that forum! "Hating" is coming back voicing and an opinion that I never ask for in the first place! I could care less what Samsung has out right now I'm not interested "get it" I'm only interested in battery life right now! Yes I love Samsung I'm typing from one of there tablets right now and if SGS3 comes out before I make up my mind then great it will be considered on my list. But I'm also a fan of Moto and have been longer than I have been of Sammy! So good 4 u for loving Sam but let me like, who I like which is Moto! I have no problem Moto's software, design or there phones! So quit Hate~n on Moto! Stop the hate!..... dueces out!!!

I have to agree with webbie but u too ms charli the only thing the maxx got over any nexus is battery life but i HATE moto blur more than touchwiz so its pure android or go home but for some one like u baby girl ill say the maxx

Anything to get that post count up. Good job.

Only difference is battery life. If you don't want to worry about needing a charger get the maxx.

I'd say go with the Maxx. It's almost the exact same thing as the RAZR only with a larger battery.

I had a nexus... swapped it for a Maxx because of the ridiculous signal problems. Verizon offered to give me the maxx after only being on the phone with them for 20 mins. That proves that they know the nexus is full of bugs, yeah ics was amazing, but were getting it soon anyway I can wait.
