I honestly am surprised at all the negativity on the Super Amoled screen of the Razr HD. I have used the S3 and IPhone 5 and just do not see the big differences that some of the early impressions are talking about. I guess I am just not that picky either.

The demo unit I played with was gorgeous and I can't wait to pick mine up.

i'm waiting for more reviews before i consider it...i'm curious if they used the old version like the nexus, or the better one like the S3

the nexus had a ton of banding and screen retention, my S3 has had none of these issues

i'm curious if the screen has the banding and image retention issues that plagued the nexus, or if its improved like the S3

I've got mine side by side with the EVO LTE that I'm retiring and it is ridiculous how bad of a blue tint there is to the RAZR. The EVO screen is nice and white while the RAZR is not even close. Is this due to Moto? I'm not impressed at all.

Also, another obvious difference is the size of the screen which is reduced due to the on-screen buttons which wasn't a surprise.

Would really like to know if Moto is the reason for the blue tint on the screen, because I will root it at the first opportunity to get the color back.

Be thankful it's blue and not pee yellow like most AMOLED screens.

Yeah the blue tinge/tint is obvious but mostly in darker areas. Honestly outside in daylight even without bright sun it's MUCH less pronounced. To me it's way nicer than the s3 yellowish muted effect.

didn't like the way the screen on the original droid razr looked. Always thought the iphones had much more beautiful screens than any droids out there but don't like iphone so never got one. But the screen on the razr HD is just amazing, better than even the iphone 5 IMO.
