Razr lost all 3G / 4G Connectivity

Have you tried turning ON Airplane mode, wait a few seconds, and then turn it OFF? Doing this helped my Razr lock onto a 3G signal and keep it there.

At one point I didnt have any data at all. I just finally got 3g at around 3 pm. My wife´s Droid pro had data all day.

Nope 3g and 4g are still out. Nothing helps. Mom's Droid 3 solid 3g... Explain to me why 3g won't work on a lot of our phones!!!!

The nexi are having same problem, it has to be a sin card problem with the 3g thing or something? Some have called and complained and received a few bucks off the bill for inconvenience.

Data in and out every day seemingly since I got the phone. Both 3G and LTE. Even today after firmware update. And I don't live in the middle of nowhere... Happens in NYC and burbs. I'm not sure who to blame (Verizon or Motorola) but this is ridiculous. I should've gotten an iTouch... So should you if you're reading this and trying to figure out what phone to purchase. I can't believe I'm locked into this phone for another couple of years... Torture.

I'm blaming Verizon. Motorola makes capable hardware.

Now it appears that it was the network, as I appear to be back running fine (fingers crossed).

This is just not like VZW. I used to be able to make fun of other people....coming out of Chicago yesterday and trying to find the right entry onto the interstate...couldn't get ANY service. Fortunately, I could look at maps, but had no NAV capability, and wondered, what the...? until I saw these posts. Again. Third one that I've experienced in two weeks. And this time, I couldn't get 3G either.

I'm in Chicago also. I've been experiencing loss of signals almost every day since I started this thread. Sat next to my wife and her iPhone at the bar and at home last night. When mine goes out, hers is fine. She's only on 3G with the 4S, but never lost any signal.

I'm going to test again tonight with mine off of LTE network and see if it'll keep 3G all night and compare.

I'm still in my trial period for the Razr. May end up switching to the iPhone (although I'm fighting it!)
