Whats the purpose of this thread?


Anyway, I have no idea what bugs you are talking about since 1) I have had many smartphones before this... 2) Had this ever since launch and never had an issue.

Whats the point of this?...because its a free country and one can express whatever he wants..and don't tell me what I know about software/hardware..I know plenty about technology..i've rooted every single android phone I have owned and successfully put roms and all that other garbage thats pointless...so if anyone else can express issues..why can't i?..the Razr maxx is awesome i love it..battery is reliable..I have had my share of bad luck ill admit that..but don't question my knowledge..and sorry not everyone has a bug free handset..anyone with half a brain in there head can realize that..

You know, I was looking at the Razr Maxx, before I even knew about the Galaxy S3. Although when getting close to my phone upgrade date, I went into my Verizon Corporate store to play with and see the phone choices. I absolutely hated the look of the screen on the Razr MAXX, and then I saw the S3 and fell in love. I heard nothing but good things on the forum here about the Razr Maxx, But when I saw the screen had a yellowish tint and the pics were awful I took at the store, I decided against it.
Now when I went to best buy to buy my S3, they just happened to have the Razr Maxx on Display, not just a dummy model. It actually had no tint on the screen, it looked very clear. I didn't take pics with it, but the phone definitely looked better in the lighting at Best Buy. So got me thinking the lighting was bad at the verizon store. I'm not sorry with my choice of the S3, but I think the Razr Maxx was a good phone, minus the camera on it. I came from a Moto Droid X, so was really leaning toward the Maxx, until I saw and played with the S3. If the Maxx works for you, more power to you. I don't think the S3 is problem free, I've had no problems with mine, but to each his own. Good luck with your Maxx.

I have hard time believing people go through 4 or 5 phones and none of them work like they are supposed to. I can see MAYBE low end phones, but 4 or 5 galaxy 3s? Seems extreme.

Doesn't seem extreme if you were coming from a Galaxy Nexus, lol.

Anyway, only had the S3 since last night and the device seems top notch! I actually had Verizon switch my phone to a Razr Maxx because the GNEX was terrible and I can sell a Maxx for more then a GNEX.

I wanted to give my wife the Maxx and really sell her Rezound but it looks like she will stick with the Rezound because she did not like the feel of the device. She does not like large phones. I can say when she held my S3 last night the first thing she said was, I wan't one. lol.

Anyway, I did get to play with the Maxx I had for a little bit and it came with ICS. I don't know how it ran on GB but I thought it felt pretty smooth in ICS. Also, Motorola seemed to do a great job with Blur on ICS. I can say the screen is one thing that will be hard getting used to coming from an S3.
