Can anyone give me a quick comparison of the Razr v. Rezound in terms of pros and cons? I have been researching the Galaxy Nexus v. Razr, but think I need to look at the Rezound, too.

I have a Rezound, wife has a razr, here are my cliff notes.
Hardware, the Rezound wins. Screen, processor, camera.
Razr wins in thin-ness, but it's footprint is bigger.
Motorolla has some great software, smart commands, and the cloud services work great
Sense is better than blur, but who cares, with home replacements, that doesn't matter

The Rarz has the AMOLED screen which means your blacks will be blacker and colors will pop out more but..... the txt and graphics won't be as sharp. The Rezound tends to look washed out next to an AMOLED display. I didn't get a chance to take either phone outside so I can't tell you what will show up better.
The Razr will seem quicker because it doesn't have Sense running on top of it. IMO, sense lags more than motoblur but sense offers better eye candy and functionality.
The Rezound felt great in the hand vs the Razr. The Razr is wide so if you have big hands you will be fine.
What I really liked about the Razr was, the Micro SD slot was just a flap away. Whereas the Rezound you'll need to take off the battery cover. That really depends on how ofter you'll be switching out the SD card.
The Rezound offers the ability to add an extended battery. Comes in handy when you won't be next to any source of power for a couple hours or more.
And the Rezound has the beats audio. Right now, the beats is only enabled using the std. music app but I read that they released the API so you'll see more third party apps build that audio enhancement into their apps.

I'm reading this forum now in the sun, screen is at 50%, and it's fine. Blacks are blacker on amoled, but the Rezound screen is not washed out. Sense does not lag, sorry the hardware caught up to sense, and it's fine now.
You really just need to go play with both. I can't stand holding my wife's Razr, but she likes it, and that is cool. I really wanted an amoled screen, but that was before I picked up and played with a 720p slcd. It's quite nice.

I think you will get different opinions on what feels better, what runs faster, and which performs better. Everyone has different apps and widgets loaded on their phones.
I highly recommend you go to a Verizon store and just do a side by side comparison. Who knows, you might decide on a different phone other than the Razr or Rezound.

Thank you, that was very helpful! I know I need to get back to the VZ store but I wanted to educate myself as much as I can before I go back there. The reps are so darn pushy to get you to make a decision right away so that they can earn their commissions!
I am not faulting them, they are just doing their job the way their employer wants them to, but I hate pushy sales people. I need to take my time so I won't regret my decision.
