Re: Touchmate Tablet stuck at logo boot screen

I tried it, worked for me but after pressing reboot at hard reset, my tablet was still stuck! It didn't start until now! :'(

I purchased 2 of the same tablet for my kids this past Christmas and my sons tablet is doing the same thing. I did a hard reset by using the power/volume up keys solution and it still won't go any further than the RCA logo screen. I did a hard reset on his tablet several times and still nothing. I don't want to throw it away if there is a possible fix to this problem. I had a different issue with my daughters but a hard reset fixed it. With as many issues as I have been having with these tablets, needless to say I will not be buying anymore of RCA's products.

Use a samsung charger… Or usb debugging., press power the push down the volume button. Hold until a android that says no command shows, then press up volume button

Buy an micro sd card w/flashdrive that u use for microsd card at target, go online,. Download. A android file for whatever really, I don't recommend. This though. But I recommend an micro sd card.

Use or buy. A USB Android cord at Walgreens
. to charge it

:D:-$:confused::confused:;)

After turning my daughter's tablet on for the first time it encountered a bootloop. I was able to enter recovery, wipe cache, and factory reset. After choosing reboot and letting it sit at the RCA logo while it wrote it's files it booted up and I was able to use it.

I have a 10 inch RCA Android Tablet, I bought it on Nov.26,2014 and it is stuck at the dogs wallpaper and will not turn off or go to anything else. I have tried to reboot it but it goes right back. Can anyone help me?

I was having similar issues as many others where at first it seemed it just wouldn't turn on. One day I switch the plug I had it charging while it was plugged into the device and it turned on to the looping RCA screen. Then I left for work and when I came back home it was blank again. I hit the power and it would just go back to the looping RCA screen. So I started holding the power and volume buttons at the same time and eventually got to the recovery options and did these steps:

Select “wipe data/factory reset
Select “yes”
Go to “mounts and storage”
Select “format /boot”
Select “yes”
Select “format /system”
Select “yes”
Back out of that menu to the main one again and select “advanced”
Select “Wipe Dalvik Cache”
Select “yes”

And rebooted. It worked I got it and then the system asked if I wanted to update. I said yes, it failed with a dead android logo, restarted, and then I was getting all the same issues and I couldn't even get back into the recovery settings again. When I would push a volume up or down and power it would just flash white for a second and shut off. I played with every different option to get to recovery for about it hour and all of a sudden I get a message that update failed do I want to delete file. I say yes and I'm back in and working. For ****s and giggles I go to update again, it starts and fails again, but after a restart I get right back in with the same message to delete file. I then go turn off auto update.

So if you're having a black screen issue I would first try to plug in the device into another wall jack (or the same one but unplug and plug back in) while it's plugged into the tablet. That seemed to get things going. If that works to get at least a image on the screen then progress is being made. Let it charge up again just in case. Then hold the power for 10 seconds to turn off for sure. Then start trying the volume down and power button at the same time to see if you can get to the recovery options (there may be one that auto resets and another one where you have to do the options above). Don't do the update unless you're curious. Hopefully that works for you.

Right now I just cant get Youtube to play videos? At least I got this for free since it "didn't work".

I had the logo loop problem, it was running out of memory even thou I still had 6 gbs, I put a mini sd card from my phone in it and it loaded right up...gonna get a mini sd for it n transfer my movies over to it....hope that solves your problem...happy new year 2015

Re: RCA Tablet will come on or charge.

I just got my 10'' rca pro 10 tablet a week before Christmas and now not come on at all, I've tired several different chargers still no luck. II'm very upset I feel like I've wasted my money. Then I look up this problem and I see everyone is having this issue so discouraging, this means rca tablets are defected.

Ok so i have the RCA tablet RCT 6203W46 version 4.4.2 and it was haveing the flashing on and off at the RCA home sceen with the dogs next to the logo and i just waited tell the screen turn'd off for that brief second and i pressed the power button and the volume up button at the same time and released when the logo flashed back on and that got me into the factory hard reset ...and so after that you just use the volume up and down button to select wipe\swipe data and factory reset and then after that use the same method to select Reboot your RCA and it will be as new.... :)

Now i know this was explained befor in an earlyer post with much better instructions but i just wanted to provide the exact way i did it to fix my Tablet cuz it may work for you and i also know how much of a head ache it can be and having trouble shooting options always helps. :)

Re: RCA Tablet will come on or charge.

I call rca 18554759646 I repressive to speak with I have the same problem my rca pro 10 is shutting off on its own

My issue is similar but I can't even get the dogs to show. It just loops a black screen. Not able to get it in recovery mode at all tried all combos of vol/power with no luck. I've tried different chargers same result. I have 3 of these all bought before Christmas for my kids. All others work fine. This happened this morning on first boot. It showed dogs and bootloops. Kid brings to me I used the paperclip reset it powered off used power button to turn on and it loops black screen. If I paperclip reset and it powers down, I can plug in the wall charger and it boots the screen but then goes off and on over and over till I paperclip it again. Frustrated to say the least. I've rooted/ rom'd multiple devices but this seems bricked. This is bone stock untouched except for kids stuff.

I was having the same problem blinking in and out. I did Hard reset and I plugged it into my desktop now it is working fine. Let me know if it works for you!!!
