RCS Support on Galaxy S10 (Verizon)

Has anyone heard or read anything about when RCS support will come to the S10 on Verizon? I'm really surprised Samsung didn't make Verizon activate it for their phones.

I don't think Verizon has said anything about RCS for any phones except the Pixel so far.

The Pixels come with Google Messages, which support what we have available from the carrier for RCS so far. (I think TMobile is still ahead on that.) But, from my understanding, Samsung's Messaging app is built on Google Messages, so it should be about the same at this point. (Google Messages may keep up to date faster than Samsung as more functions are added - but it's still up to the carrier to support everything but carrierless messaging - which we probably won't be seeing for a while.)

This is all I have found. I have contacted Verizon directly and they won't give a straight answer. It is supposedly coming but we are almost in April which is 1st quarter of 2019 so who knows. Hopefully any day now.
