Reading in dark room

I tend to read a lot in bed, in a completely dark room. I was wondering if somebody can comment on how good the screen is from that perspective? From my past experiences, AMOLED screens have been too bright/harsh, and tiring to the eyes. I currently have an iPhone 7 Plus, and while it's time for a change, the LCD works really well for this purpose.

Any feedback is appreciated.

There is a mode called comfort view. It warms the screen tones and lowers the brightness. Not sure that is the solution you are after but it works for me. The screen dims nicely for me as well in a standard way.

I Always used comfort view on my V20 and Loved it! Happy to have found it on the V30 too!

The V30 on 0% brightness is extremely dim, probably the dimmest I've ever seen on a phone. It also gets ridiculously bright at 100%
