On my phone, I can open my contacts but when I click on one, the process shuts down, and shuts down the progam. Can't remember the name of the process . Text Messaging does the same thing. Tried factory reset, did work. I think it might be screwed. I'll add that I can make phone calls, browse the web, everything. But I can't see any of my contatcs. Please help.

Are these Google contacts? Synced with Verizon Backup Assistant? Phone only?

You can *try* this:

From home: settings->applications->manage applications. Tap the "All" button at the top. Look for "Contacts storage" and tap that. There is probably a button that says "Force stop" at the top - tap that. Then tap the button "clear data". That should wipe out all of your contacts.

If they were synced with Google, they will repopulate with the next sync.
