Gentleman, I hit rock bottom with the Nexus. Angry rants, sarcastic comments, trolling Verizon's facebook page, F5ing Droid Life and Android Central into oblivion, you name it.
I realized over the past few days that the Nexus represented everything I wanted a phone to be, not necessarily what it was going to be. The lack of flash, USB mass storage possibly interfering with PDAnet, Verizon tossing in a few of their crapware apps, the volume rocker bug, the large bezels, and certain apps that aren't playing nice with ICS have made me realize that I was hyping this phone in my mind to an obsessive and unhealthy point.
While I have no doubt that this phone will be great, considering the super amoled HD screen and direct Google support as well as dev support, I've talked myself down from the point of anger and obsession over every rumor coming from anonymous "sources" on twitter and decided to purchase a phone I was originally interested in, the Rezound.
If all else fails, I'm giving it to my girlfriend and using her upgrade.
