Modding the hardware and splicing onto sprints network is not a problem with proper instructions, I just wanted to know if it could be done.

Anything can be done, but nobody has because it would be pointless... the time and cost would be exuberant, there wouldn't be any benefit over buying a phone with 4g capabilities instead.
