You need to look at the new kernels coming out with the deep idle mod. Check out the kernels under the regular nexus s look for Francos kernel it works with ns4g. Also, try the new matrix 9.0 and the Apocalypse kernel is coming out soon. Deep Idle saves so much battery!

Only thing I can think of ATM is some peoples devices not able to wake up from deep idle or have other issues related to this.

I'm one of those who hasn't had success running the new Trinity TEUV kernel.

only difference for me was i'm BFS on GPA18...

I'm even able to overclock to 1460 on this kernel now with no crash, at least not yet
before i could only hit 1300

deep idle is working great for me,
super flat line when the phone screen is off,
no screen wake issues here

i recommend going to www.derkernel.com
and trying the experimental kernels, preferably the teuv one.

now all we need is something for this when the screen is on and ill be in heaven.

It's been great for me running around 1200.
I'm using the latest matrix

I think I get about an extra 3 hrs a day out of the battery now.
I'm using it very heavily though, streaming all day at work over 3G.

I'm on oxygen and just flashed matrix 9.0 bfs yesterday, battery life was terrible. Hopefully today after clearing battery stats we'll see an improvement

First charge cycle is always okay at best... Also you may want to try the cfs version instead of the bfs. bfs is the betas, experimental versions so they aren't always the most dependable.

FYI, I'm running Oxygen 2.3/Matr1x 9.0 cfs and here is my screenshot near the end of my first charge cycle.

Note: This was with about 1 hour of calls, a boat load of GTalk, played around overclocking to 1.46 Mhz and running some benchmarks (scored a 4700 highest) for about 10 minutes and downloading things from my Dropbox and flashing numerous zips and some web surfing. So not what I would call a very light usage day.
