Really interested in Pixel Pro. How versatile and capable is the camera?

I'm use to Galaxy Ultra, which has big Megapixel counts, quad lenses, huge zoom. I worry about losing a lens and going to triple cam instead of quad and I worry about 50MP compared to 108MP and 100x zoom down to 30x zoom. How versatile and capable is Pixel Pro camera?

I've had great results with my Pixel 6 Pro. The telephoto is excellent (although there's no way for me to directly compare with Samsung's). Here are some recent samples:

The 7 Pro's camera should be even better, with somewhat more zoom capability, in addition to a new macro mode that is not available on the 6 Pro. And of course, you'd have the superior computational photography that Pixel is renowned for.

Thanks! How's the stock camera app? Are there a lot of modes like portrait, slow mo, food, etc?

The Pixel Camera app has never been big on lots of different modes, since Google emphasizes computational photography for real appearances. There's Portrait, Night Sight, Astrophotography, Panorama, Photosphere, and Motion (which allows for a short video that can include motion blur effects).

Video camera has Slow Motion and Time Lapse.

Point and shoot....Natural looking photos.... Action photos.....Pixel is the best IMO.

I had the 22U, now have the ZFold. But I also carry a pixel at all times for my kids athletic games and events. Nothing better for great photos! Video is a different story....lol

Generally very good. I usually don't take shots of quickly moving subjects, but when I have, the results are typically good. The Top Shot feature also gives you the opportunity to choose a different frame that might be in better focus.
