really need some help....loading ringtone

to PHONE, not SD card.

What's the difference? It'll still work the same.

Load it like a song then in the click the personalize option on the home screen ringtone, add new the navigate to the song and set it

I tried doing this today and have run into problems as well. I tried loading it through the Personalize Section, in Settings > Sound and then through the HTC App. The funny thing is the HTC App doesn't even give me the option to do "set as ringtone".

Hmm that's odd I just did it from the homescreen touch the personalize button then scroll down to ringtone click it from their it should have a button on the top for add new select that and your music library should come up. In the HTC music app select the song and your good

Yeah I don't know whats going on with it. I have to try it with a different file, maybe the mp3 I'm trying is not allowed or too short. I've never had this issue before.

Are either of you temp rooted? I'm wonder if that is the issue.

nope...not rooted

Fixed: I did a factory reset to remove anything I did via temp-root and that fixed it.
