Before asking this I looked through various forums and tried many roms and clean tools but nothing has been working I since factory restored my phone

Info
Andriod Version 2.3.4
HTC sense 3.5
software number 2.01.605.11

I have my bootloader unlocked already.

What I want to do is get rid of sense(or disable) and use go launcher

What are the steps I should take after unlocking my bootloader?

(I really spent hours trying to get this to work)

Thank you

I could be wrong but can't you use Go Launcher without being rooted? Download the app, set it as the default launcher and you should be good to go.

Now if you want to get rid of Sense all together then your going to have to:
Unlock (as you did)
Install a custom recovery (I recommend Amon-Ra as Clockwork Mod is known to be a bit flakey at the moment)
Root
Flash the ROM of your choice...any of the Senseless ROM's would probably work for you.

I know you've said you've been reading but have you seen this thread?

http://forums.androidcentral.com/re...uide-guide-unlocking-rooting-htc-rezound.html

Should pretty much cover it all.

Which part are you getting hung up on? Did you accept the latest OTA update?

Since you're on the OTA you need to root via Amon-Ra. Install Amon-Ra Recovery, reboot into recovery, go under tha developer menu and choose the option to install su/superuser then reboot into the phone normally. After that install superuser from the market. Now that you're rooted, you can debloat/de-sense and switch launchers. However if you just want to switch launchers, the above poster is correct, you can simply install a new launcher and choose it over Sense.

If you need more detailed instructions let me know.
