Reason for Buying S20

We know a lot more about the 20 series now , Refresh rate, space zoom, 8k are all extras,

The unknown am waiting for is Battery life.... Am guessing youtubers are not allowed to post any battery reviews until the phone is out.

Can't wait to see what battery life will be like! Only time will tell, I guess!

As far as battery life who ever goes more than a day without a charger near by? All of my phones for the last few years have lasted for the day even with heavy use. Being that the ultra has a 5000mah battery I doubt there will be any issue making it through the day even with all the new features.

Reason for buying? I'm insane. I have no reason to buy a new phone as I have a Pixel 4 and iPhone 11pro already. I'm going to give Sammy another go.

Reason for buying the regular S20 instead of S20+ or Ultra? Easy, I have small hands and prefer small form factor phones. The S10 was a bit big for me but the S20 is a couple millimeters narrower than the S10 and has a similar width to my Pixel 4. So I'm hoping I'll enjoy using the S20 more than I did the S10.

I guess I'm insane as well. I buy a lot of things I want and not really need like new phones.

Yes. I just hope the software processing has improved, or it'll just be a ton more megapixels and it still won't compete with the Pixel 4. That's why I'm going to order. And take some by side shots before trading the Pixel in.

I’m certain that the S20 (Ultra) will demolish the Pixel 4 both as a phone and camera. Not only has the software processing improved, but the sensor size is much larger (1.7-2.9x) as well as better zoom and megapixels. And the Pixel 4 doesn’t have ultra-wide.

I pre ordered the ultra 512gb , still got my note 10+ for now. Gonna give the ultra a good run and decide if it's a keeper before the return window closes

Please go get an eye exam. There's no reason FHD should look blurry to anyone on a phone screen. QHD is overkill and just eats your battery.

I've always run QHD on my phones because I want the best. I grabbed my S20 Plus last night and was annoyed that I couldn't have QHD and 120Hz refresh together. After testing them, I honestly can't see a difference between QHD and FHD. I notice a huge difference with the 120Hz refresh rate though. It is amazing! I was skeptical of a the hype behind it but it is no joke. Everything looks so much better and smoother with 120ghz. We didn't know what we were missing before.

Yep, I think most will see far more benefit from the refresh rate than the higher resolution.
