Reasons you dont want the Epic 4g Touch

Sprint Corp. rep here, after installing FPSe (PSX Emulator) and trying to run FF7 on Epic Touch 4G I can say that the audio quality is awful. Sure it's not the normal day-to-day app, but none-the-less it is bad enough for me to think that the Yamaha chip is hurting the experience. Haven't seen any other reports of this emulator running on capable android devices and experiencing audio issues. I also use the 3.5mm audio-out port to listen to music in my AUX-enabled car stereo everyday. Tested it and it seems alright. Not nearly as notable as the emulator, but then again quality headphones would be better than a car stereo to see for yourself.
Trying to convince myself that this isn't a dealbreaker. Especially since I don't think ICS is coming to Sprint until VZW has had the Nexus/Droid Prime for a few months per their exclusivity agreement. The fact is, this phone is solid. If the only audio you'll be using on your phone is via phone calls and ringers, you'd be crazy to pass up on this if you needed a phone now.

Phone is awesome for the most part, it's Sprint's data that, well...........sucks

Similar thing with Verizon... What's the point of giving people blazing speeds but setting a cap?

The point is that you have a good experience using the data you bought. You can always buy more. Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for. There are no more free lunches in wireless data.
