Received my S7 Edge today (dunno how), unboxing and questions

I see only a couple of battery life screenshots. Is it holding consistently since it is now a few days out? Improving/worsening? Now that iit is broken in, how does it compare to the s6?

I'm trying to decide between the S7 and S7 Edge - anybody on here know how the bigger batter/bigger screen vs smaller battery/smaller screen turns out by direct comparison?

Both screens have the same number of pixels so edge should have better battery.

I have to say that the Samsung Browser is actually a pretty damn good browser. It's fast and support adblockers now. It seems much faster than chrome on my S7 Edge.

Shame that you can't have chrome bookmark sync with it though.

Yeah just tried the Samsung browser with ABP and man all the annoying ads are gone. Browsing on Android phone now feels as smooth as Safari on iOS with ad block. Chrome sucks on Android can't browse any heavy site without lag, stutter. One more thing I miss from Safari on iOS is the reading view in the browser.

This is a pretty nifty feature.

When the phone detects that the charging port is wet, charging automatically stops to prevent damage.

I actually find that a pretty smart thing to do since the charger itself may not be water resistant, along with the connector.

IMO, it's pretty smart.

Not sure the 7.17 GB system includes Sammy's bloatware. That may be just the OS. And, of course, it doesn't include the carrier bloat we'll get in the U.S.

Gosh that's big. My first Windows 95 computer came with a 1 gig hard drive--and I thought that was big at the time.

Now though 32g seems small as that's what my S3 came with almost four years ago. I have that about 2/3 full just with OS & apps.
