Android Central Question

Is there an api which describes how to connect to android via bluetooth and receive audio from the android? I imagine the receiving device needs to connect as a central, to receive information from the peripheral (android), but I'm not sure how to go about this and let android know that's the connection I want. I can connect with android as a central, but not the other way around.

Welcome to Android Central forums. Let me Google that for you.

I found several pages with developer instructions about Bluetooth and Android. Here are a couple.

https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/bluetooth

https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/bluetooth/connect-bluetooth-devices

These and many of the others I found link directly to Google pages.

I'm not sure if I'm following you but it sounds like you want to broadcast to an Android device, what broadcasts via Bluetooth that is not a phone or tab? Perhaps if you gave us more specific information, what you want to do, including the devices involved, brand and model, and where you're not seeing the result you're looking for we might be able to help with that problem or perhaps offer a work around. We're shooing in the dark otherwise.
