Recent Apps button now faster?

My N4's (ATT) "Recent Apps" button has mysteriously gotten faster and more responsive. Uh...I did get some samsung app updates over the past few days but I didn't suspect they were related.

I've spent the last 30 minutes loading up apps, reboot, etc. and although not blazing fast the Recent Apps delay has shrunk down to almost nothing. It was driving me nuts but unless I've had too much coffee this morning it is more responsive and quick then the last few weeks of ownership. crazy.

Did you switch from Dalvik to ART? That might explain it...

After the last update the lag on the recent apps button is pretty much gone

Still on Dalvik (shealth stuff w as crashing on ART).
Don't remember getting any updates other than some random samsung apps.

I'm in UK on EE and mine seems to have improved today. Haven't seen any updates though...
