Recent coverage gaps/dead spots in NYC/LI area

Has anyone in the NYC/LI area noticed random dead spots in areas where they had no problems before? I stream music while on the LIRR and I know the 2 specific dead spots I will encounter during my commute. However, I am seeing a number of others where there was never a problem before. A couple right around Jamaica where I always had a full signal.
