That should be the June 2017 security patch for the G95xW (i.e. Canada). Received it earlier this morning on Telus.

Received mine this morning. On Bell Ontario. I'm knew to Samsung S8 plus and loven it. How do you know when it's a security update or an actual OS update?

Security updates are OS updates. When a security update is released it changes the OS version.
