I have had my EVO for a few months and finally got up the courage to get it rooted. My expert computer friend did it using kernal 2.6.32.24-king-havs-OcUv and Build # Ava-FroyoV9. Couple of questions. Can the Sprint Navigation be added back as that icon was deleted. Now Google Voice does not work, deleted and reinstalled, but will not give me the option to use my google number when calling. Tried to use the google maps and navigation, but no sound, mute is off. any suggestions? Other than these little things, i like to new operating system. The wireless tethering work great!

Make it easy on yourself. Remove that ROM (or have your friend remove it) and put on the AC-ROM. It works flawlessly and is constantly updated.

Actually, do yourself a favor and learn how to do it yourself and also learn about what exactly was done to your phone.

Its best that way because then you can put on what YOU would like at any time, without having to worry, because you'll already know how ta do it.

The AC ROM is a GREAT ROM. But there are plenty of other great ROMs too. You should definitely learn how to do it yourself because like igotsanevo said, you can put what YOU want at any time. There's tons of info out there and tons of ROMs.
