Reception compared to other phones?

I have a Galaxy S3 and the reception is not as good as my wife?s Iphone 5,
or my son?s Moto Photon. How does the reception on the Nexus 4 soon to be 5
compare to these?

The reception seems about the same as my iPhone 5. It is perhaps a little faster in regaining a signal once you move into an area of coverage than the iPhone though.

My nexus5 seems to have a stronger signal but I've only used it for 24 hrs

Where i was having to use wifi calling on my S3 running 4.2.1 i have good signal using a N4 running 4.3. Im under the impression that 4.3 improved signal for me. Ive also had good luck in rural areas and using wifi/locator with GPS in the boonies. Id like to see how the N5 compares to the N4 in signal.
