P philly Well-known member Sep 15, 2010 794 48 0 Sep 21, 2010 #2 nope.. from my personal experience it pretty much stays at "3g" with a little D on the symbol at all times. my bars are ussually between 2-4 on my voice coverage aswell. im new to verizon.. had no idea their service was so good in my area or i would of been on verizon much earlier. anyhow my phone has great reception

J jack22182 Well-known member Sep 15, 2010 148 4 0 Sep 22, 2010 #3 Unless I have a REALLY good 3G signal, it bounces all the time. It is very bad (and annoying) when using the 3G Hotspot. Maybe this will be addressed in the update that was just announced.
