Recommend me a phone

Re: Recomend me a phone

I would recommend the Pixel as well - camera quality is sharp and really good at picking out details of the photo. I'm no camera guru but the photos I've taken so far look really good to me! Look at the photo sub-forums of phones in which you're interested to see some examples!

Also, congratulations on the expectation of your first child! Exciting!

I see you got one mate congrats on the pixel and thankyou mate scary times ... but ultimately the pixel was jus to expensive in comparison to the p20 or the v30 in the end p20p seemd best deal and a 1month old phone couldnt complain cant wait for it to turn up and hope im not disappointed thanks for your help on the forum so far aswell guys

Re: Recomend me a phone

Geting me exited now how have you found yours so far ?
I absolutely love it. Have been at work most days since I got it. Looking forward to playing with the camera in a day off when I can go somewhere a bit more interesting.

Re: Recomend me a phone

Hey you have an whole lot of variety of good phones to choose phones. Since you said that you are not going to pay crazy amount on an iPhone, I would suggest you to go for a mid-range Android phone. Let me present you with a few options.
One Plus 3t is an excellent option if you want a high-end Android phone with an affordable price tag. Less than half the price of an iPhone, One Plus is already among the most famous Android phones. The phone is known for its high-end specs. It has highly efficient latest processor with huge RAM cache. The phone is robust and has a catchy design. My personal favorite is red color. if you want to play games or your phone use is many hours a day then you must opt for this one. It is just perfect!

The next option I would suggest is Huawei Mate lite 10. The phone is beautiful with bezel-less from the sides. The phone is available in different elegant colors and it is quite a reliable device performance wise. The camera is great and it has four cameras, two on the front and two on the back. The rest of the specs are very good as well and you should definitely consider this if you want a low price phone with excellent specs.
There are many other low end options but I do not want to write more about them, I hope these two would be enough to choose from.

Re: Recomend me a phone

Bought the Nokia 6 (to replace my aged Galaxy 5 which wasn't holding it's charge and the bottom third of the screen was 'corrupted') and have not been disappointed with it at all.
Need to address all those negative points from reviews -
Battery life isn't 'poor', mine lasts 2 days at least with average use and the charge time is average NOT painfully slow.
It isn't uncomfortable to hold for long periods of use, it's actually very tactile and my family all keep picking it up lol.
The screen definition is crisp and clear, colours are excellent and HD video replays stunning.
Sound is amazing, only need the media, alerts etc on between a third and half as the volume is excellent and really clear (better than my current Samsung tablet !!).
Speed of opening apps isn't always 'instant' for every app but then again what phone is - depends on the size of the apps etc AND if loaded to the onboard SD card.
The weight and size are excellent as is the build quality, especially for the price !!
I guess what I'm saying is that the Nokia 6 IS better than my 'old' Galaxy 5, and yes I hear you saying technology does move on but this really is an amazing bit of kit for the money.....and.....it's a NOKIA. Never thought I'd be back buying one of them again, very pleased I did !
Oh and on first turning it on out of the box it prompted me - did I want to update from the factory installed Android 7 to the latest Android 8 'Oreo' - you bet I did !!
I don't believe I'm easily pleased and I spent literally weeks watching YouTube reviews and reading all the online written ones as I eliminated all others in my price range and opted for this.......it quite literally does everything I wanted and more - well done to the guys at Nokia, long may the re-incarnation of the company continue !!
