All,

Have yet to even receive my phone (128 GB Galaxy S6 regular) but I am pondering the car dock situation. In particular, one with audio, as I understand that the MHL feature has been inexplicably removed from this latest device iteration. Any recommendations as to the best options?

My car is a 2009 Toyota RAV4 and the Bluetooth doesn't support audio streaming (it's terrible quality anyway). However there is an AUX in port, I just hate to have to plug in a charging cable AND audio cable each and every time I get into my vehicle.

Thanks!

Why not just get a Qi dock, then you only have to plug in the audio.

If you have BT in your vehicle, no worries.

The Qi docks historically have never provided enough power via wireless charging to support running GPS + screen, phone calls and/or hotspot simultaneously.

Well that's basically your option here if you only want one plug. No one makes a dedicated car dock yet.
