Recommended replacement battery

Awesome! Thanks everyone! I will as soon as I run it for a few days. I see people mentioning CPU Z. Is that an accurate app to use to see if the new battery is really 3850mAh?

EDIT: Never mind. I read all the comments in Play Store and most every one said that the battery reading is inaccurate.

Aside from all that, you think that the battery is a good purchase? Sorry for the edit...one more question. Will I lose NFC with this battery? I didn't see anything about it in the description.

This is the first phone I haven't rooted. Probably should now that I got lollipop...

I don't think you can root Lollipop yet. Unless someone knows otherwise.

Yes, it's my understanding that you can't root after taking an OTA for 5.0. I will be waiting for custom ROMS based on the new stock ROM before dipping my toe. I'll not risk my root for lockscreen notifications.

I can second thepktrckt on Anker. I've had good luck with them. I guess I'd also want an external charger as the one I have doesn't expand wide enough to fit the G3 battery. Anyone have a recommendation for a cheap but good external charger?

My report back...

The TQTHL High Quality 3.8V 3850mAh battery is actually not as good as the stock 3000mAh that came with the phone. It's not horrible but I am disappointed that it didn't make a significant difference, let alone not be as good. I'm going to keep it, just in case I go to a concert or something where I may wear down my battery from high usage, but I will not use it daily.

That's unfortunate. Thanks for letting us know. Where did you buy from and who was the seller?

Many users have their phones set up differently and some don't know how to control the systems wakelocks and receivers.
This has a huge impact on battery life, also many users leave everything on like wifi, data, gps and sync.
All that drains the battery. I have nothing bad to say about the TQTHL battery and have gotten awesome battery life.
