recover deleted files from non rooted oneplus 3t

- the oneplus 3T is not rooted
- to use recover tools root is required
- rooting the oneplus 3T removes all data
So:
The question is: is there still anything to recover after rooting my 3T

Rooting won't remove phone data. However, a failed rooting may brick your phone and you'll need to flash ROM in order to make it work again, and that's when all your phone data will be erased.

If you really need the lost data, you could back up your existing data, and then root your phone when you are ready to do it.
