Recover deleted files from rooted TMobile HTC One?

Thanks for any help. I couldn't find a thread for this, so i apologize if I'm repeating
another's question.

I had a housefire and I'm trying to access records for/from my insurance company.
I'm trying to recover deleted texts, photos and downloads that I deleted
from a TMobile HTC One.

Since I could not access USB Mass Storage, I had the phone rooted. HTC said
that was my only hope. I've tried the recovery programs again and I still get stalled
at "access usb mass storage."

Dumpster did not work. Tenorshare got superuser access but could only access what I could already see on the phone.
Android Undelete for rooted phones can only access the sd card and I can no longer see what it recovered. It scans and
seems to freeze.

Has anybody had any experience with this?
Do any of you offer this type of service or
can anybody suggest a service?
