[RECOVERY] [6/21/11] ClockworkMod Recovery

Custom ClockworkMod Recovery (v4.0.0.5) for the Inc2. Includes all the latest bells-and-whistles including EXT4 support. I've tested it, and it works beautifully.

You must be S-Off for it to flash.

Download:

Download here

Install:

Unzip and flash with fastboot:

fastboot flash recovery cwm-recovery-vivow.img

fastboot reboot

To enter recovery:

adb reboot recovery

OR (if you're not "comfortable" with adb)--Power off device. Turn on by holding the power button + volume down. In the menu that you're greeted with, choose recovery from the list. The phone will reboot with clockworkmod recovery.

what does this flash allow you to do?

I also see you posted the first ROM for it too.

I've temp-rooted the phone using the directions LowFire posted on here. I've froozen most of the VZW stuff that I don't want running and in my app drawer.

I do understand what a full root and FLASH does, but the ClockworkMod Recovery is what I don't know.

It allows you to flash the roms stored on your sd card. Rom manager automates the process for you, once you get permanent root. More importantly it allows you to backup your current rom in case you don't like the one you loaded.
