i tried it the way it is in hte first two post and it didnt. work im on the clockworkmod recover that comes with rom manager. i would like to upgrade and thry this one out. any help. on what i am doing wrong?



Edit: nvm I got it. I miss read but I got it working now. Love it so far.

Just out of random curiosity has anyone tried flashing different types of ROMs with this recovery with success and/or fail? I could test that... Make sure it Flashes ICS, IHO, CW7, StockROM's, and other custom ROMs. Anyone have any feedback on my question?

Could someone do a complete step by step write up on this flash gui apk? Im in the process of moving this weekend and really dont have time to check it out for myself. All credit will go to the ones who writes it. I get a chance and figure out how to sign zips, I will add yet another flashing option. Any and all help would be appreciated.

how to use flash image GUI:
launch the app
you will see 2 options Kernel Image
and recovery image if you tap recovery image tab browse browse your SD card for the recovery.img tap it scroll down check both wipe cache and dalvik cache boxes and tap flash image

This recovery DOES work on the new OV i just flashed this with no problems
