Recovery woes. Need any help at all.

My phone is completely useless to me right now. In its current state, the Samsung logo glows endlessly while my phone gets all nice and toasty.

A few days ago, I installed cnexus' stock ROM update with related fixes and hadn't had any problems. Today I lost data. I went to reflash the ROM in TWRP and got the error unable to open zip. OK, so I clear my caches in the hopes that maybe it will do something to help my data come back on and hit reboot. Que Samsung logo..... for 20 minutes.... I rebooted back into recovery and decided to just restore from the nandroid I made after I had freshly set up my phone from updating a few days ago. Says successful but, again with the Samsung logo. I let it go to 30 minutes this time. Over the past 5 hours, I've removed and replaced my sd card trying different ROMs, trying to reflash recoveries. Moving files to internal storage and trying to flash from there doesn't work. A couple times, trying to install a ROM would just cause the recovery to crash and restart. Now all I get are errors. Keep in mind, I'm wiping before every attempted install. I've formatted my SD card in hopes that maybe that was the problem. No dice.

Does anyone have any advice at all? I'm losing my mind. Anything is appreciated.

Edit: Just attempted to unroot. Failed 3 separate times.

Have you tried to flash a stock ROM?

I had been using stock ROMs since I rooted this thing. I used to be a flash a holic on my EVO, but those days are gone. I tried a couple different stock ROMS. Cnexus's rom and fixes, and an all in one stock. Those both failed.

Yeah it's definitely a weird case. I've never had trouble with flashing if I could manage to get into recovery, but this was crazy. It was completely failing me. Thanks for your response .

I fixed it. I had to plug the USB cord into one of my ports in the back to get Odin to work. Already re rooted and flashing another stock ROM. I'm sticking with CWM recovery now.
