Red LED stays red even after battery reaches 100%

So, is this normal? I really don't think so!

Even if I leave it on forever it stays red, I tried it multiple times with different chargers I got the same result.

Anybody has the same issue?

Doesn't sound like it would be normal. Wondering if it's a software error? Not sure what to suggest on the end user to try to fix that, it's probably a bug in the ROM.

I noticed the red LED even after charging to 100%, but it eventually turned green on mine.

Think that's happened to mine also. I haven't charged to 100% in a while usually to 90 something, but I'll have to try it today and see if the red light stays on.

noticed on mine today at work that when placing it in the wireless charger which is just usb connected to the pc that it stays red for a while after reaching 100%
don't know if it is the slow charge causing it but it does turn green after a while

Today I waited longer than usual it turned green after all. But even after that I tried to charge it few times just to try out the LED and it takes the phone around 10 minutes to comprehend that it's full and the LED turns green

Same thing happened to mine this morning. My phone was at 89% and placed it on my wireless charger at work, once it hit full charge the LED remained red. Not sure if or how long it might have taken to turn green, after it fully charged I got notification for one of my apps which pulled up my lock screen and the LED red light was gone. I'll have to use my phone a bit and then top it off and see what happens the next time.
