T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Rediculously low wifi speeds ,

Wifi speeds on my S8+ are horrible to compared to my old IPhone 7+.
I have google fiber, wifi speeds on
IPhone 7+ 551 down, 367 up
Galaxy S8+ 35 down 44 up
exactly same testing location, 1 min apart. both connected to 5g.

Hm.. not sure. Something isn't working right with either the phone or your phone not liking your router. The S8 is definitely capable.

The phone is definitely capable of better. Take a look at this thread for more examples.

Hum. Make sure cellular is off for both. A reboot and wait for system to quiet down.

Something is wrong somewhere. My internet isn't as fast as yours but I get 70mbps on my Wi-Fi with S8+, which is my max internet speed.

What kind of router are you using OP ? I have Google WiFi and at home on 5 GHz I get good speed on my AT&T fiber.
