Refunding an app

So check this out...this morning I saw Quick Office HD optimized for the tablet, so I bought it. I quickly realized the PowerPoint displaying options weren't robust enough for me, so I went into market and clicked the refund button.

I got an email sayings my order was cancelled and that I would not be charged, however the app is still on my XOOM?

This brings up another point. If someone wanted to be dishonest, couldn't they buy an app, back it up with Astro, refund it then install from the backup?

Um yeah... that's how it works -- they have no way of removing the app from your device. I believe you will not receive updates going forward but not sure.

So, I went into the market and uninstalled Quick Office...it no longer shows up in my apps. It appears we have quite the bug here...if I was an app developer I'd be furious.
