Refurbished SIII Availablity?

I am thinking of selling my Skyrocket and using that money to cancel my contact on my line and add a line to get a S3 but I will only be able to afford a refurbished one.

Does anyone know how long they usually take to be become available?

I would think they become available very quickly as new phones get returned as defective. Not sure what the protocol is for getting one from the carrier but I would talk to them about it, because the carrier's warranty company is the one that normally has them in their hands first.
